EMI’S STYLE: Always changing, bouncing back and forth, somewhat retro-vintage, boho and somewhat grungy with gypsy-esque accents at times— Totally makes sense, right?
INSPIRATION: Bloggers and people in general. I follow hundreds of blogspots and tumblrs, which include Nyané and Mpho’s tumblr, Le Happy, Jean Greige, Vintage Virgin, Vi0lettae, etc.. My style is also heavily influenced by the 80’s and 90’s, I even get inspired by tv series from those decades!
HOMETOWN GLORY: [In my town in Belgium the style is] minimalistic, featuring whatever is in stores like Zara, Bershka, etc. A lot of people are afraid to step out of the box, so they just go with the ‘mainstream’. You will, however, spot some daring outfits in the city. You just have to keep an eye out for them!
WHAT TRENDS DO YOU HOPE TO SEE THIS FALL? Oversized jackets, leather, denim, dark colors like burgundy and army-green.
FALL FAVORITES: Layered outfits! I love wearing a lot of different layers, say, a shirt’s collar peeking out from underneath a sweater, and then a coat or denim jacket on top. Keeps you warm and looks great; and I think Fall’s the best time for layering.
